Komarthumparambil
The Komarthumparambil branch of the Nedumchira family traces its origin to Late Mathew Komarthussery, who was the third son of Thomman Thomman Nedumchira. Initially, this branch was referred to as Komarthussery. Mathew Komarthussery had three sons and three daughters. Unfortunately, Thoma, the eldest son, passed away at a young age, while Chacko, the second son, was adopted by Mathew's brother, Itty Kuttolamadam.
Achamma, Mathew's eldest daughter, also passed away at a young age. Kocheeri, his second daughter, married Late Kochukochu of the Valiyaveettil family in Vakathanam.
Meanwhile, Kochanna, the youngest daughter, married Late Yohannan of the Thachara family.

Mathew's third son, Thoma, sold the property of Komarthussery and relocated to a new property called Komarthumparambil, which gave rise to the branch being named the Komarthumparambil branch of the Nedumchira family.
